While polished concrete isn’t maintenance-free like some may think, it is incredibly low maintenance and hard to damage. It’s very resistant to stains, it won’t chip or dent, and it won’t even be hurt by flooding, water damage, or high humidity unlike other floor systems. It can maintain its beautiful appearance for a lifetime, although it will eventually develop cracks that add character or may be repaired.
