For many of us, the vernal season was about that heartwarming combination of optimism, positivity, and celebration. And there was just something about the turning of the year that allowed us to believe in promises of a better future. During 2022 - now known as the 'post-pandemic' era - things had drastically changed; celebrations such as new year's eve are becoming increasingly common again.
Though 1 January 2023 falls on a Sunday, it looks like government employees and some private sector workers will still have to enjoy their new years eve over the weekend! There isn't any official announcement yet though; if anything changes we'll be sure to update this section accordingly (we're eagerly waiting!).
