Why are deserts cold at night? In many parts of the world, it is really very cold in the evenings - not just because of the heat of the sun, but also because there is little air movement and therefore little wind. The air masses that are usually laden with warm, dry air like to stay close together, so they form clouds. As clouds form, their temperature becomes lower and colder, thus colder nights come. If you have a cold desert evening, then you will know why it feels cold.
But, what about the air mass that is warm? This air tends to stay close to its warm temperature and as long as there is enough warm air, it does not move around. Because it cannot move around much, the warm air settles back into the clouds and then the clouds retracts into the desert. The warm air stays close to the earth, which cools it. This is how the desert cools down at night.
If you want to enjoy a cool Desert Evening, you need to be in a place where there is plenty of warm air. When you are outside during the day, you can enjoy a bit of chilled desert water or even cool drinks such as ice-cream. However, when the day ends and it gets cold, you need to go home and get a glass of warm drink and go to your balcony to enjoy your chilled desert. It is hard to enjoy your dessert at midnight, especially if you live in a desert. Therefore, why don't you go to your balcony at night and enjoy a glass of chilled drink.
