Union Los Angeles has teamed up with their California neighbors Vans for a three colorway tribute to the iconic Vans Old Skool Womens. Simple, refined, and elegant, the three spring-ready pastel shades feature luxurious treatments ranging from a twill weave, contrasting suede, and pebble grain leather. Tonal options include Dusty Pink, Muted Gold, and Off-White colorways while a natural veg-tan leather hits the inner lining to match a marine blue boat shoe outsole for a lifestyle twist.
Solid gum rubber soles on a pair of Vans is always a good thing. And the design cue has arguably never looked better than on this latest duo of the Vans Old Skool Mens in your choice of dark grey or black suede and canvas uppers. In fact, the gum-coloring can be found on more than just the soles of these Vans classics, as the signature side-stripes also come in a gum hue.
World renowned sneaker shop and collaborator Patta joins up with Japanese-based shop BEAMS and Vans for a special three-way collab on the Vans Old Skool Cheap this fall. Taking inspiration from an old Johnny Cash song, the “Mean Eyed Cat” Vans Old Skool for Sale features a premium build in all-black suede and canvas with large Patta logos behind the signature jazz stripes and “Team Patta” text printed on the laces. Adding to the bold branding is “Mean Eyed Cat” text on each midsole.
It seems inevitable that the New Balance 997 Sale return will eventually get sent to the collab realm, and we can’t wait to see which shop gets their hands on this venerated silhouette to whip up an SMU. The shoe has been getting plenty colorful though without outside help – if you need any evidence on that then check out this burgundy and blue version. The Made in USA sneakers don’t come cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of craftsmanship.
We know that the New Balance 997 Cheap will be sticking around until next year at the very least. New Balance 997 Mens acolytes are no doubt hoping that the sneakers stay around as long as possible – their presence in original form is a treat that’s been universally celebrated ever since that grey pair showed up. The shoes are seen here getting more and more colorful, with the above sporting a sky blue shade and the below going back to the navy.
The latest Concepts x New Balance collaboration will arrive February 7th, 2015 in the form of this New Balance 997 Womens “Luxury Goods”. CNCPTS has been all about tonal lately, just look at their Rosé creation from a while back. Here, the unofficial inspiration is luxury lifestyle brand Hermès, as a safety orange arrives on the retro runner in a premium vibrance created in part by buttery leather and supple suede.
