Posted in the topic Woman kicked out of gym over ‘tasteless’ in the forum News and Announcements
    July 22, 2023 9:49 PM EDT

Shirls Larson's story is unfortunate, and it's disheartening to hear that she was kicked out of her gym over her Instagram posts. It's essential to recognize that everyone should be treated fairly and not discriminated against based on their appearance or online presence. Gyms should focus on providing a welcoming environment for all members, regardless of their personal style or social media activity.

It's essential for gyms to establish clear guidelines regarding appropriate attire and conduct, but these rules should be applied consistently to all members, without singling out individuals unfairly. Taking photos during workouts is a common practice for many fitness enthusiasts, and it shouldn't be a cause for expulsion as long as it doesn't disrupt others' experiences or violate gym policies.

In the end, it's crucial for gyms to strike a balance between maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for all members and respecting individuals' freedom of expression. Everyone deserves a chance to work towards their fitness goals without fear of being judged or discriminated against.

On a positive note, I hope Shirls finds a new gym that appreciates her dedication to fitness and supports her passion for sharing her journey on social media. Perhaps she can even inspire others with her workouts, including her famous "upper butt workout," which may be an excellent addition to her tasteful and informative fitness content. Let's promote inclusivity and understanding within the fitness community so that everyone feels empowered and encouraged to achieve their fitness aspirations.

Thanks for the article. We're at a time when people disregard fitness. Although everyone knows its importance, that's still not just enough motivation for them. But depending on how quickly you lose muscle, you can choose a fitness routine with a moderate intensity even if it's just twice a week. That's the advice I can add to this.

I already have two big rubber mats, that i use for deadlifts and rows. I never squatted on them, because i thought the concrete ground would be better because more stable. I should be able to adjust the bench to the right heightnwith the mat. Good idea!

Posted in the topic Checked into a hotel, they gave me an occupied room. in the forum Off-Topic Discussions

This clown was the worst ever in many ways but when I walked into my room and saw a suitcse on the floor and a purse on the bed...

I was like, WTF? I back out and a lady opens the door (it's almost midnight BTW, she could have been naked or in bed) I was like, "I am so sorry, he gave me a key..."

I knew this guy was a tool when I checked in, he was clearly incompetent and full of attitude but in 20 years of travel I have never seen anything like it. The occupied room is only half of the story, but the story is boring so I'll spare you.

There is a point where you have enough time with a hotel chain that they give you lifetime elite status. I have that. If I lodge a complaint against this guy he is going to have a very rough time of it. Normally I wouldn't dream of doing it.

I'm not so sure this clown doesn't deserve it.
