Prestige day in Black Ops 7 always messes with your head. You're proud you hit 55, but you're also staring at your perfect setup like, "Yeah… I'm about to delete you." If you've ever warmed up in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby and then jumped into public matches, you know how fast the game punishes you when your build isn't online. That's why Permanent Unlock Tokens matter so much. Use one on an early unlock and you'll feel it for the next few nights of grinding.

    Start With Silence

The first thing most people miss after a reset is how loud they are. No joke, you'll hear your own footsteps and start playing slower without meaning to. That's why Ninja is such a strong pick for a permanent unlock. It's way up at Rank 53, so normally you spend almost the whole run sounding like you're wearing work boots. With Ninja on day one, you can take routes you'd normally avoid, slip through a doorway, and win fights before they even react.

    Stay Off The Radar

Then there's Ghost. Rank 32 doesn't sound awful until you remember how constant UAVs are in BO7. Somebody's always popping one, and objective play turns into a light show of red dots. With Ghost unlocked from the start, you can actually rotate without feeling tracked, and you don't have to burn time shooting down streaks when you should be pushing a hill or holding an angle. It's not flashy, but you notice the difference the moment you don't get hunted mid-flank.

Guns And Wildcards That Change The Run

If you're dead set on a weapon token, pick something you barely get to enjoy otherwise. The MPC-25 at Rank 55 is the obvious one, because without a token you basically unlock it right as you're tempted to prestige again. The Peacekeeper MK1 at Rank 52 is also a smart choice if you like flexible guns that don't feel awkward in close fights. Still, I usually put Wildcards above weapons. Perk Greed is the big one. Four perks early means you can build around your style immediately—Ninja plus Ghost, then whatever helps you win your usual gunfights. You can grab somebody else's gun off the floor. You can't loot their perk setup.

Make Prestige Feel Less Like A Punishment

People prestige for the badge, the bragging rights, the whole "I did it again" thing. Fair. But you don't have to suffer through every reset the same way. Spend tokens on the stuff that defines how you move and survive, and the grind feels more like progress instead of starting over. If you're planning your next run and want to speed up the messy part, it's worth looking into a buy CoD BO7 Bot Lobby so you can get back to playing the way you actually like to play.
