If you want to travel with pets, according to the KLM Pet Policy, Carriers must be soft-sided and no larger than 18" x 11" x 9" for animals flying in the cabin (46 cm x 28 cm x 24 cm). Pets must be able to stand up and comfortably lay down inside. Pet carriers must have a fibreglass or rigid plastic shell, the wheels must be removed or blocked with duct tape, the door must have a centralised locking mechanism, and the two parts of the carrier must be connected by bolts in order to transport pets in the hold.
