The nominations for 2023 Golden Globes are here. Read on to see if your favorite stars in the worlds of TV and film have snagged nods across the ceremony's 27 categories.
Some of your favorite stars are on top of the globe for one special reason—and yes, it's golden.
The nominations for the 2023 Golden Globe Awards were announced and the list of honorees surely did not disappoint.
Ahead of last year's ceremony, NBC announced the award show would not be aired on TV amid criticism of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's lack of diversity among members. Nonetheless, the event proved to be a night of firsts for many nominees. Pose star Michaela Jaé Rodriguez made history as the first transgender woman to snag a Golden Globe, winning in the category of Best Actress–Television Series (Drama) for her role in the FX series
Meanwhile, West Side Story star Rachel Zegler also made history as the first Latina to win Best Actress–Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for her performance in the film, while simultaneously becoming the youngest winner in that category ever at just 20 years old.
Not to mention, Squid Game's O Yeong-su became the first South Korean actor to win a Golden Globe, earning an award for Best Supporting Actor–Series, Miniseries or Television Film.
As for the ceremony that will take place next year, viewers can tune in for the Golden Globes on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, airing live coast-to-coast from 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Christina Haack and Ant Anstead's custody battle has been resolved.
The HGTV star and the Celebrity IOU: Joyride host have reached an agreement regarding their 3-year-old son Hudson and will not be going to trial, a rep for Christina confirmed to E! News.
According to court documents obtained by E! News, a judge signed off on the exes' agreement on Nov. 18 to "continue to have joint legal and joint physical custody" of Hudson.
In the documents filed by Christina's lawyer, but jointly approved by the pair, both reality stars also agreed to a holiday schedule.

Christina will get the same period on even years. Court documents further show that the pattern continues for Easter Sunday, which their son will spend with Ant for even years and Christina on odd years, and vice versa for the 4th of July.
With this agreement, Ant and Christina's March 2023 trial dates have been cancelled.
Back in September 2020, the former couple announced their breakup after two years of marriage. "We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority," Christina wrote on Instagram at the time. "We appreciate your support and ask for privacy for us and our family as we navigate the future."
After the pair's divorce was finalized in June 2021, Ant moved on with actress Renée Zellweger while Christina—who also shares Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa—married Josh Hall in April after dating for a year.
Although Christina recently explained why she won't be sharing Hudson online, fans will be able to get a glimpse of the designer's relationship with her husband on the new HGTV series Christina in the Country.
Set to premiere in January 2023, the show will follow Christina as she expands her business outside of Southern California.
"I have fallen in love with Tennessee and it truly has become our home away from home," she wrote on Instagram Nov. 29. "We are enjoying all the perks of country living—the friendly people, clean air, nature and clear night sky. Having the opportunity to grow my design business both here and in California is a dream come true."
Christina added, "Co-Producing this show with my husband, @unbrokenjosh, has been so fun and we are very proud of it!"
Crypto Markets Today: BlockFi Files for Bankruptcy Protection, MakerDAO Rejects $500M Proposal to Invest in Bonds and BTC Slides
Crypto prices dropped amid continued market contagion triggered by the FTX collapse earlier this month.
Crypto lender BlockFi filed for bankruptcy protection Monday, indicating it hoped to restructure, continuing operations in the meantime.

BlockFi has about $257 million in cash on hand and a Bermuda-based affiliate is also filing for liquidation in a similar process, according to a press release.
According to the company's petition, BlockFi's executives estimate the company has more than 100,000 creditors, and checked off the ranges. Executives estimate the company has between $1 billion and $10 billion in both assets and liabilities.
The company's largest creditors include West Realm Shires Inc., the legal name for FTX US, which has a $275 million unsecured claim, and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which has a $30 million unsecured claim. The majority of the other top 50 creditors' names were not shared.
A rocky year: BlockFi, which suspended withdrawals a few weeks ago due to the ongoing confusion about FTX's assets, has faced a lot of setbacks. The company liquidated a large client earlier this year, and it needed a line of credit from FTX to survive.
The lender was set to raise funding at a $1 billion down round valuation in June, after raising $350 million at a $3 billion valuation in March 2021. As recently as July 2021, the company was looking to go public within the next 18 months, with a potential $500 million fundraise coming soon.
Other News
Bitcoin (BTC) slid around 2% amid news that crypto lender BlockFi had filed for bankruptcy protection earlier in the day. The largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization was trading around $16,200, down 1.9% in the past 24 hours.
The MakerDAO community rejected a proposal to use up to $500 million of the stablecoin USDC to invest in bonds with crypto investment firm CoinShares. As CoinDesk's Krisztian Sandor reported, CoinShares had proposed managing between 100 million and 500 million USDC and actively investing the money in a portfolio of corporate debt securities and government-backed bonds with the aim of returning a yield matching the Secured Overnight Financing Rate. On Monday, some 72% of votes were cast against the proposal.
Equity markets fell amid widespread protests against Covid lockdowns in China. The S&P 500 index dropped by 1.5% at closing. The Nasdaq Composite and Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 1.5% and 1.4%, respectively.

The AFL is sticking by its Crypto.com partnership amid fears the company could be caught up in a market spiral after the collapse of FTX.
Last week FTX, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, filed for bankruptcy after the value of its cryptocurrency collapsed, triggering the crypto equivalent of a bank run, with investors seeking to withdraw their funds from the platform.
The company’s co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried resigned last week saying he had “fucked up”, as his reported wealth declined from US$16bn to US$3.

The collapse has already had implications for the wider cryptocurrency sector, with the value of Bitcoin declining from US$20,000 to US$16,600 since the news broke. Experts have predicted the FTX collapse will make it harder for the wider sector to recover from recent falls.
Before FTX filed for bankruptcy, there was a boom in sponsorship arrangements between sport and cryptocurrency businesses.
Mercedes F1, Miami Heat and the International Cricket Council all suspended their sponsorship deals with FTX in the wake of the company’s troubles.

In Australia, the AFL signed a five-year deal with the Singapore-based Crypto.com earlier this year. It included sponsorship deals with four AFL clubs, and Crypto.com became the “official cryptocurrency exchange and cryptocurrency trading platform” for the AFL and AFLW.
A spokesperson for the AFL told Guardian Australia there had been no change to the partnership.
The CEO of Crypto.com has rejected suggestions his company might fall to the same fate as FTX.
Kris Marszalek, in an impromptu “ask me anything” on YouTube on Monday, said that FTX’s collapse did set the industry back “a good couple of years” in terms of reputation, but said Crypto.com was “the single most regulated company” in the sector, with licences or regulated entities in Europe, the UK, Canada, Singapore and Australia.
“Our platform is performing business as usual,” he said. “People are depositing, people are drawing, people are trading.”
He said the business practices that Crypto.com engage in are very different to that alleged about FTX.
