I think LED lights are an environmentally friendly alternative to the ever-increasing number of CO2 emissions, which is why I believe their popularity is on the rise. LED lighting is not only more energy efficient but also significantly less hazardous to use because it does not burn out as easily.
I switched from using the CMM lighting last week after the news that they can explode if the electricity will shut down because of an emergency. So I tried to find a good replacement for those lighting types. I found a good way to solve this problem and bought the LED Bulbs from the Vont brand on amazon for a very low and affordable price. I strictly recommend you switch CMMs until the manufacturing company solves this problem with the exploding cases.
I was just curious. What does everyone do for lighting with their CMM's? The CMM I run is out in a shop and not in it's own room. The lighting in the shop it self is good. But I get a lot of shadows, I've been told to find something and get what I think would work. I thought about a small task light but I'm not sure. Anyone else have this issue?
