I painted my guest room this winter, but it’s been so cold that the paint isn’t drying properly. I thought about using a heater to speed things up, but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea. Some say it helps, others warn it can mess with the finish. I’ve put in a lot of effort, so now I’m wondering should I use a heater when painting in cold weather?
I had the same issue painting my study last winter. The room was cold, and I wasn’t sure if using a heater would help. A local painter gave me great advice use it safely to keep the room warm, but not too hot. The paint dried evenly with no problems. Looking up home painting questions helped me feel more confident too.
