The towers of Notre Dame
Notre Dame has two 69-meter towers on its facade. Accessing the top of the towers, in addition to appreciating the fantastic views, you can visit the bell tower where the mythical Hunchback of Notre Dame lived and see the many gargoyles up close.
To visit the towers you enter through the entrance on contact bus company the left side of the cathedral and climb 387 steep steps on foot, as Notre Dame does not have an elevator.
To save your endless queues, it is best to download the JeFile application and reserve an approximate hour of visit online. If you prefer, you can also use the machines in the cathedral.
Visit Notre Dame
Currently, due to the serious fire in 2019, Notre Dame Cathedral remains closed to the public until reconstruction work is completed. Although the most iconic temple in Paris is scheduled to reopen, it is currently not possible to visit the cathedral or access the square.
