Beat the heat at Sunway Lagoon Theme Park
Roughly fifteen kilometers far from the Kuala Lumpur city center, you will find the Sun way Lagoon Theme Park in Petaling Jaya. From a wide range of exciting water rides to a lot of dry land sand activities, The Sun way Lagoon is sure to make your day.
The man made water slides that swirl, a one of a kind 360 degrees revolving pirate ship, wave pool, the list of activities just doesn’t seem to end at the Sun way Lagoon. There are plenty of thrill rides and an interactive zoo where you get to touch giant tortoises and cuddle some of the hamsters. If heights do not scare you, make sure to try out the Niagara Falls Flume ride where you are seated on a log which is then dropped down at a thrilling steep height of 260 meters. Make sure to try out waters of Africa which is one of the most popular zone of the Theme Park. It is the only ride that sees most of the action through out the year. It is used by beginners as well as professionals during competitions for surfing and body boarding sessions which are particularly held on the weekends at the wave pool. Other popular rides include the Congo challenge which is a six lane water slide known to achieve speed of about 40 kms per hour. Screen Park is the newest addition here and has become extremely popular – thanks to its scare zones of empire centric horror theater and a ghost house.
