Hi guys, My name's Ritch I'm french-canadian (please excuse my poor english ) from quebec and I'm new to this forum. I'll try to make it as short and as detailed as possible. So actually, I found this forums by looking for a solution to my problem on google, not gonna lie, and I found a thread somebody who had the same problem has made and apparently now, it's solved so what do I have to lose trying myself, hopefully the same will happens to me So my problem is; I've bought a 25$ amazon.ca gift card because I wanted to surprise an old friend of mine with who'm I've went to school with and who since then has moved and now lives in the United-States. We both kept in touch mostly through an online game we're both playing so I thought maybe he'd like it because he could be in-game stuff with it since I knew his budget didnt permit him to get "in-game merchandise with real money" since he's got alot of stuff to pay. (Yeah yeah, I know I'm a nerd ) Thing is, he cannot use the amazon card because it's an Amazon gift card and not an amazon one, and they sell the in-game stuff on amazon com but not on amazon ca and there's no way I can use my  balance on  so if anyone has an idea as to how we could possibly trade the 25$ amazon.ca gift card for either 25$ on paypal or an amazon gift card, that'd be appreciated since I don't want to waste 25$, I'm not rich even if my name's Ritch Waiting on answers and hoping for help! thanks guys! if there's anything that wasnt clear please feel free to question, I'll gladly answer thanks again! good bye

Have you tried writing to Amazon support? If so, what did they tell you?

Even though it's the same company, each country's site has different prices, items, taxes, etc. The best solution you have right now is to contact Amazon support, tell them your problem, and ask for a refund. Or to switch the gift card from amazon.ca to amazon.com. I think the second option is better. Or you can try participating in an [url=https://www.dontpayfull.com/page/sweepstakes/]Amazon gift card giveaway[/url]. It's free, you just have to join and wait for a winner announcement. At least that way, you can get your money back if you can't make a refund of your gift card.
