     Technically, no formal education is required to become a truck driver. No college degree is required, although a high school diploma or GED is generally recommended. You can also receive a certificate of completion from any accredited cdl school usa. This will be extremely helpful during the hiring process, but it is also not a strict requirement. This requires a commercial driver's license, better known as a CDL.
