Is this possible to hack paypal?
I want to secure my paypal account so I want to know what carding methods exist to know how to protect myself
I'm considering closing my PayPal account. A British lady friend had her account hacked a while ago.

If you have a paypal account, take a minute and configure the text message security option for your PIN code. Also you can add an authenticator. Don't use the same password for many accounts, and choose the difficult, long and unique password.
