When you add Lox to your body and have it interact with other medications, the side effects of these medications can increase. For example, the interactions of Lox injection with other medicines can increase the risk of side effects from ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory drug that reduces pain and fever by reducing prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

It also has anti-inflammatory properties in the stomach, intestines, and liver. It is a pain reliever, fever reducer, antacid and anti-inflammatory medication for people with arthritis or certain types of inflammation in their joints that causes pain and swelling.

Ibuprofen is also used to reduce fever caused by colds or flu symptoms such as chills or shivering that prevents sweating due to an infection such as pneumonia or bronchitis; swollen glands (e.g., lymph nodes); stomach ulcers; osteoarthritis; rheumatoid arthritis; tendonitis; muscle strains/sprains; back pain from spinal injuries (e.g., whiplash); multiple sclerosis (MS); migraines.

Lox is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution of lidocaine in water for injection administered by the intravenous route as an anesthetic or as an anesthetic adjunct. It contains 1% lidocaine hydrochloride (50 mg/mL) without epinephrine and 0.5% lidocaine hydrochloride (25 mg/mL) with epinephrine.
