How to fix QuickBooks Error 181016?

    Yes, the damaged QB Point of Sale can trigger the Quickbooks pos error 181016 in your application. And to fix this, you can follow the given steps:

    • Go to the Company Operations option under the File menu.

    • Then, click on the Create New Company option and give a unique name for it, and hit Next.

    • If you do not get any error with this file, then open the original company file.

    • And then again, go to the Company Operations, under the File menu.

    • After that, click on the Restore option from Backup and then hit Next.

    • Now, click on the Browse option from the Browse tab to Alternate backup file.

    • Then, go to the C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks Point of Sale XX\Data\ folder.

    • And open the qbpos.db file.

    • Lastly, give it a unique name and hit OK.
