Southgate undecided over whether to play Man City quintet vs Malta
England boss Gareth Southgate confirmed Manchester City's treble winners are available to face Malta, but he is yet to decide if they will play.
New faces to feature?
Eberechi Eze is eyeing a senior debut after being included in Gareth Southgate's squad for the first time.
This opportunity has been a long time coming for the 24-year-old, who would have been involved sooner had it not been for an Achilles injury suffered on the same day as he found he had made England's provisional Euro 2020 squad in May 2021.
Inspired form in the latter stages of the season under Roy Hodgson saw him included for June's double-header. There is also a chance Levi Colwill could make his debut.
Part of the England Under-21s squad heading to this summer's Euros, he trained with the squad this week after his Brighton team-mate Lewis Dunk was forced to withdraw through injury.
Initially just a training role, Colwill has been brought with the squad to Malta so has a chance of also making his bow.

Malta are ranked 172nd in the world, between Moldova and Bermuda, and below Yemen, the Maldives and Chinese Taipei.
They lost 2-0 to defending champions Italy in March's qualifier at the Ta' Qali National Stadium and Marcolini expects his side to put up another fight.
He said: "We will need some luck because on paper we are complete underdogs but football is very nice because sometimes small teams give a fright to other teams. It will be very difficult but, the same against Italy, we will give our best.
"In this last year Malta have shown a lot of improvement, the last results show that. It will be very tough but we have only to think to put our best on the pitch, to play for each other and when we have the ball be as brave as possible.

Rashford to make qualifier return?
Marcus Rashford is in line to appear in a qualifier for the first time since November 2019.
