Moon Knight is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean it’s also the end for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it has a long list of movies coming up in the near future, completing the current Phase 4 and setting the basis for the still-mysterious Phase 5. The MCU has gone through major changes since the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, and Phase 4 is covering both movies and TV shows, with the latter directly connecting to the former, thus expanding this already rich universe.
The MCU’s TV/streaming branch has seen a lot of success so far, beginning with WandaVision, and has explored different stories and styles since then, as seen with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki. Its latest project was Moon Knight, a darker TV show that has taken the audience through a complex ride involving Egyptian Gods, cult leaders, and a lot of trauma with Marc Spector and Steven Grant (both played by Oscar Isaac) as the leads. Moon Knight has been a critical success, and its events will surely impact upcoming events in MCU movies or at least will be referenced somehow.
Unsurprisingly, the MCU already has a long list of upcoming projects, and while the release dates of some keep changing due to the coronavirus pandemic and other factors, the rest of Phase 4 is already planned out, and there are already a couple of titles set for Phase 5, which might take this connected universe on a different and darker route. Here are all 12 MCU movies coming after Moon Knight and when they will be released.
