Over a few weeks I "enjoyed" a wierd lifestyle. I would go to bed at my traditional time, get on my feet at any time of night once I could not sleep (usually between 3.00 am and five.0zero am) and browse or write essays or do quiet household chores. Then I would get the children up and see that they had breakfast and got off to highschool.
I would then, depending how I felt, keep on working or move to bed. My alarm would be set therefore that I didn't have to worry concerning being asleep when the kids came home from college (I never was: I think mothers have an internal grandfather clock). I would sleep for so long as I needed and then rise and keep on with my day. At weekends I may sleep while the children were doing homework or out with their friends.
