  Depending on your copy of windows, you’ll need either a digital license or a 25 character product key to activate it. You won’t be able to activate your windows 10 without one of the methods.

   

  • Purchase a digital license from the Microsoft official website, this doesn’t require you to enter the activation key to your product.

  • Or you can get a 25 character key to activate the windows, you can get the key from the official store or a third party store online or offline. 

   

  First, determine which method you would like to use then follow the steps for the activation process. You have to go to the Activation tab which can be found under Update and Security in the Windows Settings. You can activate your Windows with both of these ways from that activation tab.
