The WNBA Edition of NBA 2K24 is exclusively available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and features both Diana NBA 2K MT Coins
Taurasi and Sue Bird as the cover athletes. Players looking to get this version of the game should note that it's only available in the US and can only be bought in physical form. The WNBA Edition comes with all of the pre-order bonus content included with the Standard Edition of NBA 2K24. It also includes a Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi jersey in both The W and in MyCAREER. It's priced the same as the Standard Edition of the game at $69.99 USD. The WNBA was added to NBA 2K for the first time in NBA 2K20.

NBA 2K fans can purchase the NBA 2K24 Championship Edition on Steam, the PS4 or PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S. However, it's absent from the Nintendo Switch, unlike a few of the other versions of the game. As with the Standard Edition, players who pre-order will get the usual slate of bonuses. In addition to that and the base game, however, the Championship Edition comes with a 12 Month NBA League Pass subscription and 100K virtual currency. There are also quite a few bonuses geared specifically toward the MyTEAM and MyCAREER features. Perhaps that's why the Championship Edition for NBA 2K24 has such a hefty price increase at $149.99 USD.

Championship Edition players will receive a 10% XP Boost on both MyTEAM and MyCAREER season progression. Also included are 10K MyTEAM points, 10 MyTEAM tokens, and 24 MyTEAM promo packs released over the course of 6 weeks. Sapphire Devin Booker and ruby Michael Jordan MyTEAM cards, a free agent option pack, a diamond Jordan shoe, and one ruby coach card pack help provide more incentive for NBA 2K players to purchase this version.

In MyCAREER, fans can expect a Michael Jordan-themed Go-Kart, 10 additional boosts across each MyCAREER skill boost type, and  Buy NBA 2K MT Gatorade boost type, a 2-Hr Double XP Coin, 4 Cover Star T-Shirts, one backpack and arm sleeves, and a custom designed cover star skateboard. The clear focus on cosmetics doesn't leave fans with high hopes for NBA 2K's reliance on loot boxes and microtransactions.
