Natus Vincere beat Space Soldiers on Train, 16-9, and go 2-1 in Cologne.
Natus Vincere started out on the CT side, winning the pistol round and the anti-ecos, but Space Soldiers made it very expensive for the CIS side killing three and planting twice on the B site of Train. The Turkish side then kept abusing that interior site, planting the bomb and getting the upper hand on the retakes twice in a row before eco-bashing Natus Vincere to tie the match 3-3.
From there on out, Natus Vincere started to build up their economy, winning several rounds in a row up to an 8-3 lead, when Space Troops took a tactical timeout. The talk didn´t seem to help the Turkish team, though, as Natus Battere, with a particularly inspired Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács, closed the half out 12-3.
Space Soldiers were able to take the second pistol circular thanks to a misplay by Natus Vincere, but it only took one eco rounded before the CIS side got back on track, successful the first gun spherical and following it up all the way to match point. Space Soldiers after that kept the dream alive, with Ahmet "paz" Karahocaand Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli getting two triples in a row to keep the match going. With them momentum on their part, the Turkish aspect brought it back to 15-9, but Natus Vincere were finally able to close it out after getting an early man advantage and exploiting Space Soldiers’ defense in the last around of the match.
