A punch list is a list of checks that is drawn towards completion of a construction project. It contains minor things or outstanding activities that the contractor must clear before the project is deemed to be complete. To give an example, when a door is closed incorrectly or when a light switch is faulty, they are put on the punch list. It will assist in making sure that everything is completed to the satisfactory of the client before issuing the final payment.
