2017 Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Red

  • Jordans 2017 did release the Air Jordan 1 Metallic Red back in 2009, however they were not true to OG. They featured the Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel instead of Nike Air. For 2017, this Air Jordan 1 release will feature a clean White and Varsity Red mashup while the Red will have a Metallic finish. Nike Air branding will also land on the tongue, insole and sole. Of all the Air Jordan 1 colorways, the White/Red and the "Banned" are the ones that get the most publicity and attention. But the truth is that the Air Jordan 1 wasn't limited to just two or three colorways, but rather fairly wide variety of team-based compositions and other basic filaments like this White/Metallic Red version; we've seen something of a "Retro" as part of the Air Jordan 1 "Do The Right Thing" Pack, but this OG pair from '85 is in such excellent shape that these could very well be 21st Century issues.
